A flight back from sun baked Salou to rainy Liverpool John Lennon Airport after a wonderful weeks holiday,my twin brother Stephen and I jumped the number 500 bus from the airport to Liverpool City Centre were we visited some great pubs to round off our great weeks holiday, one of the first we visited was The Head Of Steam. A wonderful looking pub ,interior is superb, an island style serving bar dominates the main room, lovely decor and furnishings, cool wall art, big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options spread throughout this pub, its a great pub to unwind in. We grabbed an alcove booth ,we sampled some great beers including some really good ipa's plus some great Continental lager style beers ,staff were superb ,always are in here and all beers served in absolutely pristine condition, we spent a good few hours here ,to be honest it's one of our must go beer destinations whenever we're in Liverpool City Centre . We really enjoyed our time in here ,had a great time, fab staff and wonderful beers in a cosy pub ,what's not to love ,can't wait to go here again on our birthday on the 5th of October. The Head Of Steam is easy to locate along Hanover Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. A great beer destination, well worth seeking out if you're in the area.
