Went to a gig, was very fun, nice place however the managers attitude was disgusting. We came in before the show Started and we all waited downstairs near the doors as my friend has a disability it 's unnecessary walking for her and her legs could collapse, me, my friends and another group of people where told by staff it was okay to stay there, another staff member said we can 't stand there as we are blocking the fire exit, we said nicely we where told its okay so he went to get the manager. Visited both branches both great.This one is opposite the station and was a fun experience due to great staff. Fantastic selection of beers from across the world much to choose from covering most tastes. Very happy atmosphere and great for a late night drink.
Great gig venue. Visited to see Dictator who were amazing as always. Enjoyed the venue. Great bar upstairs with a nice atmosphere so we stayed there without moving on afterwards
Attended for a few hours to see a band, good set up and good atmosphere. Very central straight across the road from Newcastle Train Station.

First time in the town for many years with living elsewhere. Lance made me want to visit my home city more often.
Atmosphere fantastic, staff fantastic, selection of beers, second to none. Got to give it a go
Nice bar if you are into pale ales and different drinks from the usual bars
Only bad thing is the toilets are downstairs and you need a pin code
