Came here with my wife for lunch after visiting Highclere Castle for the day Had the most amazing lunch: Soup of the day (carrot) followed by Fish and Chips Staff were friendly, food was great and the overall atmosphere and pub itself are beautiful Thank you very much Ellie for the kind hospitality We’ll be back soon Lazlo to give your weekly curry’s a try!! Pit stop in our way back from holiday. We always try to find a pub not far off our route home and this was a real gem! I had the best steak I tasted for ages. The addition of the herb butter was a master stroke. My husband had fish chips. The fish was really crispy and the chips were awesome! Would definitely recommend! Great pub good food and they have a small shop selling fruit and veg looks like they getting hand made iron work for the garden. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Pizza
