The Hollow Kitchen

My partner and I visited this restaurant for drinks and dinner last night. I ordered the crab cake appetizer, while he tried the pork special. The crab cakes had a fantastic flavor and were creatively presented between crispy biscuits. The plating was beautiful, although I wished they were a bit larger for the price of $13. My partner enjoyed his pork appetizer, which was tasty and well-sized for $9. The cocktails were exceptional and reasonably priced at $11-$13, some of the best in Albany. The service was good. The food was okay could have used more spice. It did hurt my stomach the next morning so I would definitely recommend getting your steak super well done. The Brussel sprouts were very good I would get them again. The prices were a bit high for the layout of the resturant. The show with the dinner was a plus that I enjoyed. A great opportunity for local talent to showcase themselves. Having the local talent there really adds to the uniqueness of the resturant. Not soo bad, but I probably wouldn't go back. As their menu online was different then what they had in person so the options were very small compared to what Google showed.

My wife I were in town for a wedding and The Bishop was highly recommended by the hotel we stayed at. They have an incredulous whiskey selection and their crafted libations are just as noteworthy (spicy margarita was great). We ordered the Brussels sprouts chicken fried steak fingers to start. Followed that up with the smashed burger my wife had the beet salad. Matt the staff were very hospitable provided a great dining experience. Consider it a must stop!

The Bishop is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant with a menu that will please your taste buds. It specializes in Bourbon and has an impressive selection. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is laid-back, and the space is well organized.

Great find! We just asked a random guy on the street and he recommended this place. I had salmon with julienned veggies over white/wild rice, the Mr. had clam strips and fries, and it was all great. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive.

We threw a party there and everyone was so accommodating. The food was delicious and they catered to all who had food allergies. Such a great time. Thank you Reserva una mesa ahora

They sat 10 of us at the only outside table on a Friday and the poor waitress had to run in and out, but she was awesome!! Food was quite good as well.
