We had a very warm welcome when we walked through the door, the staff were so helpful and made us feel at home immediately. There is a superb selection of Chinese dishes, with excellent service. The Honeytree is a great place to hang out with family and friends in a great atmosphere, at an unhurried pace. I was impressed by the menu which offered a selection of ways to dine. Not only can you choose your favourite dishes in a conventional restaurant way, the also have a ‘as much as you can eat’ option and a ‘deluxe as much as you can eat.’ These are fixed price, and have an excellent selection to choose from. I went to this restaurant with my family for a birthday dinner and was extremely disappointed with the food. I ordered the special fried rice, but it had very little meat in it. It seemed like the portions were divided equally among the three of us who ordered the same dish. The rice was tasteless and did not meet my expectations. Additionally, we ordered seven mixed starters for £8.30 each, but there was barely one of each item. I understand that restaurants are facing challenges during this time, but the quality of the food was far below what I had hoped for.
We sat 45 minutes waiting for our starters and only when we said we were leaving did someone tell us the food wouldnt be long.The restaurant wasnt busy,only one other table with four people and us two. We did leave and and i see other reviews are similar to mine. They seem more interested in the just eat takeaway side of the business instead of customers actually sat in there restaurant. Dont waste your time here its just a takeaway.
Ordered on line through Morecambe eats, was given an eta of 20:35 delivered 20:55 and allthough the food tasted good it was only just warm enough to eat and by the time we had finished it was cold. Cold spare ribs are not good. Please up your delivery standards as it is spoiling your food i for one will not be ordering from you again and not because i did not like your food , i just like hot food, Reserva una mesa ahora
We had a wonderful evening with our Lancashire Cricket team after a successful day of playing in the county U16 cricket match. The service and food were excellent, and the staff were very accommodating. We were pleased with our experience, especially with the Happy Hour all-you-can-eat option for £22.50 each. Thank you for a great time.
