I absolutely LOVE this little hidden gem! Love the parties and love the coffee supply they have. The picture attached was taken at the seating along the windows looking outside. But a spring/summer morning, sitting outside along the canal is the perfect start to any early morning. This place is nestled under plenty of trees with a tad bit of sun streaming through the leaves. This is what makes it such a great place to eat; quite, shaded, along the canal with a good cup of coffee and quality food!!

This is a fantastic little place by the Delaware River, conveniently located near two access points to the D&L Trail. We took our dog for a walk on the trail and decided to stop for lunch. The outdoor seating is dog-friendly—they even brought our dog a bowl of water! My wife had the Savannah quesadilla, while I opted for a croque madame, both of which were delicious. The staff was very friendly as well. We will definitely return to try the coffee and explore more items on the menu.
It is always a pleasure coming for a meal at the hungry Locktender. I always leave satisfied the owner, Peter, never disappoints when he makes his dishes. If you haven’t tried the bakewell you haven’t lived. We ordered a whole one for a small gathering and there was not a crumb left. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast, lunch and the incredible dinners. One of my favorite places in and around the Lehigh valley to eat, good people, great food awesome atmosphere.
I found the experience to be surprisingly mediocre. I visited for brunch on a Saturday when there was a decent crowd, but it wasn't overwhelmingly packed. I ordered the Monsieur, a fancy grilled cheese with ham, which was just okay, but it took a lengthy 35 minutes to arrive. The coffee was also average. Both the service and the atmosphere left much to be desired. Overall, I had higher expectations for this "off the beaten path" establishment. Reserva una mesa ahora
We had a delightful brunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The food was tasty and had a comforting homemade quality, all within a refined setting. The prices were reasonable, though the menu selection was somewhat limited. This restaurant offers a fantastic view of the Delaware Canal, which we loved while sitting on barstools next to a large window. There is plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors!
I thought the atmosphere was very cozy and the staff was incredible. The view from the window was very beautiful. The barista made me her favorite mocha and put a lot of effort into it to make it special. I got the morning crepe which was very fresh and the the crepes tasted great my only compliant was that it felt like it needed something more to jazz it up.
The owner is very friendly and an incredible chef. He's got an eclectic menu with dishes from all over the world. I got the chicken satay and the house made sauce was phenomenal. The coffee is fresh roasted and also excellent. I got a raspberry bar for dessert and it's literally the best one I've ever had. Highly recommend.
Delightful cafe along the river and D&L Trail. The forage croque was full of flavor with perfectly prepared spinach and mushrooms it was hearty without being heavy. The side salad with apples, cukes and roasted pepitas was the perfect light, tangy foil for the sandwich. Really good coffee and baked goods, too. Reserva una mesa ahora
Solid spot. Service is exceptional. Has a great local feel. For being out of town-ers we were treated like a locals. La Marzocco Espresso machine is top notch with a aspiring barista to match it. Breakfast was good, homemade feel and quality ingredients. Worth the stop, don't pass this one by.
