The Huntsman And Hounds

I had a lovely meal today in the garden. My only previous visit to the Huntsman Hound was for a wake, so it was nice to experience it on a regular day. The weather was beautiful, with clear blue skies, which added to the enjoyment. I'm not complaining at all! The waitress was very kind, even though it was clear she was quite busy. I didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive at the table. I look forward to returning soon. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon!

we arrived at lunch on Saturday afternoon. was not already one of them, but we were very impressed by the warm greeting we received. my man is on crutches after a knee surgery, several employees offered him help, a kind of young lady hit a table where he would be comfortable. we ordered food from the “Specials menu” that arrived immediately and was delicious. two courses, a glass of wine and a half bitter....all for £19,20! brilliant! we will return soon.

Really nice pub, went for a funeral wake and part of the pub was sectioned off. Got served really quickly at the bar. A good selection of lager and bitter. The toilet was up a staircase that was a bit of a climb but, there is an easy access toilet downstairs for people that can’t make the stairs which is a win win. Toilet was clean and smelt nice. All in all quite a nice place.

Had a great afternoon with my wife, sister-in-law and brother -in -law great meals and sweets was sitting outside on table 13 the waitress was so helpful and friendly I'm sorry couldent find her at the end to give her a tip all my family and friends use the huntsman and has always had a great time please keep it up thank you again mr mrs coutts Reserva una mesa ahora

We were simply looking for a place to relax and enjoy a lovely bottle of wine in the sun. It turned out to be the perfect choice! We had a table in the garden and a delightful Pinot.

Had a Fish chips x tasted great. But put peas when I said none. Also daughter asked for a chicken burger but got a beef burger x was changed no problems x

Had my Dads wake there, the staff bent over backwards to ensure everything ran smoothly, buffet was deliscious and plenty of it . Well done Huntsman

Love the huntsman always go there it's our favourite place.. I always have scampi and chips
