Stopped in here on our way back throughfor a long awaited township favorite, 'The Buxton Burger'!Reasonably priced, this delicious monsterWill set u back $15 & doesn't dissapoint.Constructed of x2 burgers with the lot incl. Beetroot & pineapple is a mouthwatering tower cooked to perfection.They do have a timed eating challenge atached for those prepared woof it down,You get your name & time recorded on the glory board behind the counter.However, i would recommend sharing it with a friend, as it seems a km walk across the car park back to the car once you have devoured this monster.

I've been visiting here for 20 years and still love to drop in and get my fuel and say hello to the owners.The place isn't fancy - in fact it's quite grimy but don't let that deter you.The place has fuel and food. There is parking if you want to stay for food and toilets are clean.My only complaint was one of the pumps didn't automatically turn off when it was near full and petrol spilt everywhere.I've never had one of the burgers but friends tell me they are pretty damn good.Well worth a visit.

This quaint old building, partly build from old nissen hut curved iron roofing sits on the side of the Maroondah Highway now as a travellers stop for fuel, food and local history and artifacts from the region. Beautiful Mt Catherdral towers over the store and highway behind as the backdrop.The legendary Buxton burger is a huge hamburger with the lot, over the years the number sold is continually tallied and if you can eat the whole thing in under 10 minutes from memory you get it for free!!!

Every January we do a day trip with our kids for the Buxton burger. Yes, I am more than happy to drive for yummy food. Don't be put off by the venue that's definitely past its best. But do sit outside to watch the world go by. The people are lovely & the burgers are fabulous. Sons had a schnitzel with the lot, a lamb souvlaki & I had the Buxton Burger. There's sonething to suit everyone. Though when they saw my burger they were jealous! Each thing was yum. Must come more often. THANK you. Reserva una mesa ahora

Went here with my boyfriend, who has been going here since a child, who had fond memories of this place since last owners however upon return the service was extremely poor we were ripped off as manager charged us larges for half a bag of small chips and was very rude. Sad to say that we will not be returning to the once childhood favourite joint.

Burgers are awesome, and huge! We ordered the burger with the lot, and a Buxton burger. Massive burgers, delicious, and very filling! Staff were happy and friendly! Will be back for sure! So glad we stopped here for lunch!

We cannot drive past Buxton without stopping for a burger. They are bigger than what they look in the photos. Even though they are huge you can taste the quality and freshness. Best burgers.

Stopped in on our way home for a burger and chips. Must be new owners because the food was not as I remembered. Pattie was so rubbery and dry. Chips oily and overcooked. So disappointing. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great food at reasonable prices. Better service than Buxton hotel. If it was a choice between the two - Igloo every time.
