The Italian Orchard in Preston offers a mixed dining experience. First, the location is convenient and easy to find, but the single road leading to the restaurant could use some maintenance, with a few potholes making the journey a bit bumpy, and when it comes to parking, there's plenty of space outside, which is always a plus. On the positive side, the drinks bar has recently been refurbished and provides a lovely ambiance for relaxation. My family of 8 visited this restaurant, and I was a bit worried because my child is neurodivergent and has difficulty eating out. We don't usually go to big and lively places. However, we asked for a high chair in a corner for her, and I was relieved to see that our table was tucked away with the high chair ready in the corner. She was happy and relaxed, allowing the rest of us to enjoy our meal. We all had a three-course lunch, and every dish was fantastic - not a single bite left on any plate. The Italian Orchard is excellent. It is superbly located in it's own extensive grounds and there is lots of parking. Many of the tables overlookthe gardens and are well spaced from each other. It has a real Italian ambience and the staff are attentive and very helpful. Our food was excellent from the shared Garlic Bread, through wonderful starters, and a great choice of main courses. I especially enjoyed the goat's cheese starter and all the mains were delicious. We chose from the fixed price lunch menu which proved incredible value at less than £20 for two courses, Would we go back gaain? You bet!!
I have been eating at this amazing place for over 30 years and yet this year as many times I went I felt the food lacking it’s flavours and presentation! Staff were not friendly as they usually are and we had to keep looking for our waiter to serve us drinks and then waited over an hour after our not so good meal for dessert order to be taken! We had to get up to get the attention of Ken waiter who was serving the table next to us! Very disappointed with food and service

This restaurant is usually excellent, but not today. The chicken livers and mushrooms as the appetizer were dry. My crabmeat ravioli was not very warm and quite disappointing. However, the service was outstanding. It appears that as the restaurant has grown in size, the quality of the food has declined.
Very limited choice for vegetarians and no vegan offering except to adapt one vegetable pasta dish and one vegetable pizza. Only dessert dairy free ice cream For such awell established restaurant this is Very disappointing Surely your chefs can do better!!
Brilliant, everything 1st class as always. We booked to go after disaster the previous weekend at a different restaurant who lost our order. It was certainly very nice to be served by staff who new what they were doing. A very big Thank you.
The food and service at this restaurant receive top marks, and the surroundings are simply stunning. The bar extension is particularly impressive. The fact that it was busy on a Wednesday lunchtime is a testament to its popularity.

the toilets were very clean except the handryers take to long to do the job.they should be warmer i am a handdrying expert.the seats are very clean
Nice food good value. Bar drinks good. Service OK has for wine not so good 25£ house wine no no! My go back without wine.
