The Ivy Marlow Garden

Excellent setting, lovely clean restaurant, with friendly staff. We booked a table for 2 and had a nice table in a corner booth. It was the £19.17 set menu, which we didn't realise when we booked, but it was good value and they had a good selection of food. What we didn't realise was some of the meals had a supplement, which was on the menu but it was a bit dark and so small, we couldn't see this. So at the end of the night it wasn't really £19.17. I think if I had one complaint, this should have been explained to us when we were seated. Wasn’t too sure what to expect and having heard about “The Ivy” over the years, was hoping The Ivy Garden would be similar. Absolutely superb evening, with great service. We were shown to a table in the conservatory at the back which was chilly, but heaters were on full blasting away turns out it was too hot directly above our table. When we asked to move this was absolutely no trouble at all. Great. The food was delicious and the cocktail menu was varied. The overall cost wasn’t obscene. A delightful evening out.

We celebrated our son's 40th birthday at this restaurant and had an incredible meal. The atmosphere was fantastic, and our evening was made even better by our friendly and attentive waiter, Gav. We want to thank him for ensuring our night went smoothly and was filled with fun. The steak tartare and lobster linguine were delicious and we highly recommend them. Thanks to all the staff, we will definitely be coming back.

I had a fantastic baby shower afternoon tea experience at this restaurant. Despite being dairy and gluten free, which is not typically ideal for afternoon tea, the staff went above and beyond to create a beautifully presented and delicious dairy and gluten free afternoon tea just for me. I made a reservation online before my visit and I'm glad I did, because the restaurant was very busy during a weekday lunchtime. The decor was nice and the service was friendly and efficient. The menu offered a variety of options at reasonable prices. The Ivy is always a good choice for meeting friends, so I will definitely be returning!

As a reguar here, its nice to see the menu change from season to season. We have favorites on all the seasons menus. This time we were served by Alexander and Jahure. Both were charming in their service and presentation of the food and drinks. Unrushed service. We will be back time and time again.

I had a fantastic afternoon tea for a baby shower. Even though I am dairy and gluten free (not typically conducive to afternoon tea), the pictures show my incredible, completely dairy and gluten free specially prepared afternoon tea.

Nice bit of fillet steak but no onions of any description on the menu!!! Alas also no check back.Would have expected that in this restaurant !!!!
