Had a pizza, lemon water. Busy day, too busy to eat. Why not go to the kal, enjoy my first meal of the day, enjoy my Saturday, kick back and relax with company and have some pizza right?! Mistake! We Could not stop having stomach pains after, we have never seen the toilet so much in our life! Ugh.. will not visit or eat there again. Do your cooks have food safe? Something that lets them know how to prevent food borne illness? Cause omg am I ever sick!!!!! Also waitress need to keep up with cleaning the place was filthy, one little swipe with a dry rag is not wiping the table down! I'm disappointed. It's usually my favorite place to eat but last night the food was terrible! We had to send back our chicken nachos 2 times!! The 3rd time we got them they were still not great but ate them anyway as I didn't want to wait on food anymore! The male server who brought them 3 times wasn't friendly, he didn't ask questions, nothing just dropped the nachos and left! At least our drinks were great! And the girls were great!! But the FOOD HAS GONE DOWNHILL SINCE IVE BEEN IN!!I'm only going in for drinks and atmosphere only for now on! The food is a very huge disappointment for price!! You want what you pay for! You want the cooks putting there heart and passion into cooking
Food was great the first time we came here except overly salted, the second visit for Thursday wing night; the wings were undercooked (more soggy, not crispy) and again overly salted. Service is good depending on the server you have. We were really unimpressed when we walked in and the servers all stood there looking at us and waved us to a table, without a hello or any sort of greeting to acknowledge us. We had another issue with our bill that a server tried to argue with us over, which she then did resolve, I think with some more training on customer service for the staff, I would give this place another chance in the future.
My experience at the restaurant on Saturday night was mixed. The food and drinks were excellent, but our server, Chloe, was not very friendly. We had drinks and an appetizer before asking to order dinner, only to be told that the kitchen had already closed. Chloe did not check on us for 15-20 minutes, and when I mentioned that she never informed us of the kitchen's closing time at 11, she simply confirmed that it was already closed. This restaurant offers delicious pub-style food in a relaxed setting with a fantastic outdoor patio. I tried the cod tacos, which were generously filled with perfectly seasoned and lightly battered cod. They are $5 each and you can mix and match. The poutine was a generous portion and tasty. The cheese pizza was decent. If you love wings, this place has 100 different flavors to choose from. For vegetarians, there is a section on the menu featuring Beyond Meat burger products.
Despite some ongoing construction at the building during my visit, this restaurant was a fantastic place to dine. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I especially enjoyed the flavorful spicy chicken taco, and was pleased that they were available for purchase individually. The staff was excellent, attentive, and efficient.
