The Kentish Horse - Reserva de mesa

Went for lunch today having not been to the Kentish Horse for many years. Traditional British Pub with very friendly welcoming bar staff. Interior unchanged, just how we remembered it, lovely large garden. Having had enjoyable meals here before we were slightly disappointed today. The pub wasn't busy but we had what we considered a long wait for two main meals. A Ploughman's with Brie and Stilton was ordered, which came with just the Brie,(even though the barman wrote it down) it would of been better value with a baguette rather than a roll. The chips that were ordered to go with The Steak Roll were over cooked too! My husband asked for a bottle of diet coke, he had started chatting with loc...

We went to attend an 80th birthday party. Our first time, it has lovely gardens and such a stunning view. The food was really good and staff so friendly we will definitely go again as they do breakfast on the first Saturday of the month. Recommend it to all.

Lovely pub with outdoor garden with good beer and friendly service. Food was mediocre though. A dreadful olive tart and the ploughman's had the wrong kind of bread. Fish and chips was ok though.

Called in for lunch on a Thursday lunchtime. Plenty of tables available inside with a few taken. Fairly typical pub lunch fare. Local beer from Larkin's and local cider from Chiddingstone. Reserva una mesa ahora

Met some old friends recently there. Absolutely charming village pub. Lovely food and delightful helpful staff. I drank a pint of Larkins which was quite nice, never seen that brew before.

Warm welcome. We got there an hour early and they seated us straightaway. The food was homemade and delicious. Very, very busy when we left. Massive garden with lovely views. Loved it.

Finished a long hike at the pub. What a great spot! Good selection of beers. Lovely outside area with a terrific view. Will be back to try the food.

Friendly staff and nice warm atmosphere. Great place for lunch after a wander around Hever Castle. Great wholesome food.
