On a little visit to St Andrews we picked this lovely pub whilst taking a walk in the town centre. They were proudly displaying a sign which showed them to have been awarded the runner up as Scotlands best bar. They had a nice outdoor seating area and inside a warm atmosphere with a well kept bar and furnishings. I didn't notice any real ale on offer, but they did have a decent selection on other beers. Happy to return on a future visit
Visited with 4 golfer friends. This is an amazing bar, especially if you like whisky. We tried the 6 whisky taster menu, amazing. Even better the bar staff give proper measures, are knowledgeable and helpful. Locals bought us different whiskies to try, how amazing is that. Will come back when n xt in St Andrews. Amazing.
Nice traditional boozer, busy but not rammed got a space at the bar and then a seat, decent prices and service what's not to like. My only confusion was why the traditional toilet trough was still in use but had urinals fitted...just to note the toilets are fresh clean
Popped in here for a white wine spritzer and managed to get seat out in front which was great to people watch with all the razamataz of the graduates and families all dressed up. Great vibrancy to the place. Bar was packed inside. Seems to be a popular place. Reserva una mesa ahora
Nice enough wee bar. Seemed a locals place but some tourists sitting outside with us so not just a locals bar. Great selection of spirits and friendly service. Very small place they fit a lot in. Darts board and toasties on offer but we had already eaten.
Great little bar. I have never seen such a variety of drinks on offer . There isn't a square inch of space on the shelves behind the bar !.
We went in again for some food and we had toasties which were delicious and lovely young ladies gave great service can't wait to go back
