BEST PIE OF MY LIFE: The pastry was perfectly browned, crispy and flaky. No part of it was undercooked or soggy. Rigid but not over cooked. The braised ham hock and chorizo filling was so deliciously tender, flavorful and impressive with every mouthful. The steamed savoy cabbage side was seasoned very tastefully, bursting with flavor and complimented the pie wonderfully. The gravy was applied in just the right amount, had a great consistency, beautifully dark and rich. The mash was fluffy and creamy, dished out in just the right proportion to the rest of the dish. I can’t stop thinking about it was actually exquisite.

Such a lovely cosy aesthetic place, friendly service, and the most amazing finessed menu and food. Cannot fault this place it is the perfect pub restaurant. Dog friendly
