The Kings Arms - Reserva de mesa

The staff at this restaurant seemed to be having a rough day and appeared disorganized, but they apologized for the shortage of staff due to illness. Despite this, they continued to greet everyone warmly. After experiencing poor service at two other pubs in Hawkshead, we were grateful just to be able to order food. The staff made us feel welcome and offered a choice of three Sunday lunch options. I was initially skeptical about the meal, but the beef dinner turned out to be delicious. We didn't have to wait long for our food either. Hopefully, they will improve their organization and offer more food options in the future. I would definitely eat here again.

This place has closed down with no warning. We booked three nights in September and received a confirmation email. When we arrived, it was in complete darkness. Luckily, Vicky at the Red Lion was able to accommodate us.

I enjoyed a good pint of Loweswater gold at this pub, but it's unfortunate that it's closing and being sold to Greene King. I'm not a fan of their beers, but I hope they will maintain the character of the building.

The lunch sandwich I had in the middle of the week was tasteless, and I couldn't even eat it. The chips were nice, but they were heavily salted. The salad was basic and the overall price-performance ratio was bad. Reserva una mesa ahora

The hotel is in Management transition, so not everything running as it should. However the staff were brilliant and obliging. The breakfast was good. Give them a chance!!! Rooms: 4 Service: 2 Location: 5

The service was a bit chaotic when we visited. Hopefully will improve. We had a drink, but decided not to eat as the we're struggling to take orders.

My favorite restaurant is closed for renovations until summer 2025, which is disappointing.
