Open for lunch and dinner (11-9) this spot was charming. Menu items consist of hand crafted salads, burgers including beef alternatives, wraps, soups, sandwiches hot and cold, flat bread pizza and more. They also offer catering. Inside there is bar seating as well as tables where you place your order at a counter and pick up when your name is called. There is also a sizable courtyard area outside for dining pleasure on a warm day. We loved it for lunch and will certainly return!

It's the little details in their customer service. Every time I order my lunch they write cute notes on my bag, make sure to customize my order for Gluten Dairy Free and today even gave me an extra Gf treat. This is why people will pick you over the next place. Love me some good customer service. #ItsInTheDetails

We enjoyed the most incredible lunch at The Kitchen today!!! The chicken salad and baked macaroni and cheese were incredible!!! We loved the food, ambiance, prices and incredible staff!!! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. We can’t wait to visit Portsmouth again so we can swing by The Kitchen!!!

Had the best meatball sub I’ve ever eaten with a fantastic side of slaw and the atmosphere was great as well as the service ! Can’t wait to get back here again and we have a travel as we live in mid coast Maine ! Looking forward to our next trip

The food was very good and fresh . I had a cup of soup and a Duck Dynasty Burger and the flavor . Just know i will be back again !!!!!!!!!
