Called in recently on a Friday lunchtime. It was dead! Four workmen! No lights on! No heating! Girl behind the bar Yawning! Gents loo smelly and dirty! Awful pint of Madri, tasted more like Carling! Wife's coffee was cold and all milk! No food on offer! Been going here for over 50 years and I have never seen a transformation from what was a busy friendly place. I can only envisage the shutters up again and I heard its only re-opened! Service: 1

Went there yesterday disgusting food as for being clean understatement the utensil were dirty and the food must have been cooked days before and my husband home made pie I wouldn't like to say what we thought I had chicken I thought it was nanm bread cooked days before and warmed up and this is true not one word is a lie Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

My son performed here last night and it was the nicest welcome we have had. Our friends had the food and said it was great and the locals made us feel like one of them. Nice place to stay especially for the price! The bar tenders were good and the breakfast was amazing! Good fish and chips. Most of the patrons were good but there was definitely a local crowd that was sometimes a bit rough and unpleasant. Overall a good experience and will return. We spent one night there. Spacious room, nice and clean. Friendly atmosphere. The owner is a very nice man. If we weren't so tired we would definitely go into the pub downstairs, it seems cool. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot

They obviously don’t educate the bar staff door jammed open for smokers pub stinks of smoke do I need to say any more run by idiots
