If this place hasn't already been recognized as an outstanding gastro-pub, it certainly deserves to be considered more than just a top-tier country restaurant. The prices are reflective of the quality, but customers get a great deal for what they pay, which isn't always the case elsewhere. The personal service and ambiance are exceptional. The location can be a bit tricky if you're unfamiliar with the area. (Just a note: you might want to avoid forks in the road if you're feeling unsure!). There are also some lovely dog-friendly hikes in the nearby hills. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

I reserved a dinner for two with a friend and was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The menu offered a delightful variety of dishes. To start, we were treated to an amuse-bouche, which was a lovely gesture from the chef. We ordered the belly pork, accompanied by fresh vegetables, and it was both delicious and well-portioned. Overall, it's a wonderful spot for a meal with friends.

Great beer and a lovely atmosphere! This spacious pub is well-equipped for events like happy hours. We rode our bikes there and arrived around noon looking for a light bite, but the menu was mostly geared towards full meals. So, we enjoyed a refreshing drink in the beer garden before continuing our ride.

Took whole family for a meal as a round up to end holiday. They were brilliant with the children and adults alike. Lovely meals were had by all including one gluten free. Would definitely recommend. Lovely quiet (for 15 of us) meal. Food drinks: Wonderful! Service: 5 Location: 5

Ten of us had a wonderful evening at this restaurant last night. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the pub has a delightful atmosphere. I would highly recommend it!
