The Light Caffe - Reserva de mesa

Took more than 20 minutes to make poached eggs in an empty cafe. Couldn’t manage that, the eggs came out waaay overdone. Then when I asked them to replace the dish they did but without bacon, which was part of it. The waitress then tried to blame me (not really sure how that’s possible). Was then brought the full price bill. Absolutely laughable. How can you have a chef that can’t even make eggs. Food: 1

This was my first time dining here, and I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the restaurant is and how great the food tastes! From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience: friendly staff, an amazing location, and delicious food (and just to clarify, the eggs don’t come with ketchup). I will definitely be coming back!

Have visited numerous times for brunch and lunch. Food is always of a very high standard even when busy. Reasonably priced and a great asset to Coulsdon. More recently I’ve also been in the evening with friends. Cocktails are fantastic and great service even when they’re super busy! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5

I had a terrible experience here. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting. Eggs were over done. Hash browns burnt. The owner was very rude. People from this area has said that they are racist as well. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
