Coming from America, you don't often see restaurants that serve snail. However, the one thing that Americans definitely do not serve is Kangaroo which is exactly why my fiance and I came to try it out while visiting Australia. Since this was our first time, we decided to go with the 3 course menu which includes an entree appetizer), main, and a dessert which is pretty worth it for $65 AUD $42 USD). I chose the Escargot, Kangaroo Fillet, and the Hazelnut Praline Ice Cream. Despite the name of the restaurant, the Escargot came with 12 of the largest snails I had ever seen loaded with an abundance of butter although I wish the garlic pieces were bigger to give more of a garlicky punch. And then...

What a hidden gem! This cute restaurant is located right next to Darling Harbour but away from all the tourist traps. We find a voucher on Groupon and decided to try it out. Once inside we checked in for our reservation and were seated immediately. We ordered a mock-tail and well as a cocktail. Both were very tasty and brought out fairly fast. For our entrees (appetizers we ordered the escargot and the mushroom leek crepe. The crepe I didn't try however my partner seemed to love it. However the escargot was PHENOMENAL! Such a delicious amount of garlic which you can dip the two pieces of bread afterwords in to make your own garlic break...thank me later ; For our mains I ordered the duck whi...

The two of us were on a voucher which saves about 50%. The menu choice is the $60pp. We had three courses. The snails were good although I was missing two out of the shell. Goodness knows where they went. The other entree was salmon roulade and it was very nice. The salmon for main meal was just that and needed a side which was extra. The seafood platter was good as it was. Dessert was just one profiterole. Again good. I had the ice cream which was probably better if you wanted a bit more. As we had lunch we were happy for the size of the servings but if you are after huge servings, this isn't the place. It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday lunch and not all were cheapskates like us on a v...

The escargot would have been the signature dish and worth to try. We brought the Groupon deal and service was very friendly, tho very Frenchs accent made us a bit confused. The duck pate was good, tho we 've tasted better. But the duck canard.. Omg. Simply delicious. The place itself is comfy. Wld 've been great to have it looked more 'Frenchy ', but understandable that the hotel concrete structure would limit this option and cannot make it more vintage. Overall, would recommend to try. We got a good experience with the Groupon deal which makes it very good value for money. Reserva una mesa ahora

My favourite French restaurant in Sydney! It has atmosphere and the food is always good and reasonable. The service is excellent and the waiters/ waitress are very helpful. The restaurant is very close to the CBD and all the tourists things to see. It is easy to get to from train, bus and ferry. It is a great place for romance of a night or a group function at lunch. There is a set menu on the weekend at $45 with lots of choice. Be careful wine is excellent but expensive!

Exceptional little restaurant in a convenient location. A short walk away from the Convention light rail station and The Harbourside mall, the Little Snail offers 3-course lunch and dinner options. The menu is distinctly French with an Australian twist, and an extensive wine list to match. The calamari was delicious, tender and crispy. The veal and the lamb were also great options. The portions are quite generous and the 3 courses are plenty to fill up hungry adults.

Since we ate during their dinner hours, we were given the $60 3 course menu. Which I find is a good deal, considering on their A La Carte menu for example, a main dish can be about $32+. My favourite dish of the night, would be their herb-infused, garlic buttered Escargots De Bourgogne... Full review: purplecuriosity.wordpress.com/2016/05/14/4455/

Delicious food. We ordered two sets of the set dinner and everything was good. Duck confit, steak, snail, and seafood soup (forgot the French name of it). Bread pudding dessert was delicious! The cream puff dessert was okay. Reserva una mesa ahora
