The Loaf and Ale - Reserva de mesa

6 of us went here for dinner. Decor is dated and needs a refresh. Service was okay. She wasn't friendly. 3 meals came out first. Then 2. Then a few minutes later the last wrap came out. My guess is they forgot to make 2...wrap orders or they didn't get punched in. Drinks were good. Food was good. I had the blue cheese bacon burger. 16). Seemed odd that jalapeños and pico de galo were on it but I liked it. We parked at a lot across the street. Alright spot for a bite a drink.

Have eaten at the Loaf and Ale several times. They have a separate gluten free menu (ask for it), however you need to clarify what is safe if you have celiac. There is no safe fryer. Even the nacho chips are fried in the fryer. I have never been glutened, however twice we sent food back (both times for having croutons on the gf ceasar salad), and they remade our food. The gf bun and burger are great.

I had the chicken fajita wrap which, while tasty, had an over abundance of rice and very little chicken. The soup special was a jalapeño corn chowder which was excellent. My husband had the beef dip au jus which he thought was okay but the...au jus was really lacking in flavour. We would go back but not with overly high expectations.

We went because of the GF designation and they do have a GF menu. However we’re not sure if the fries were done separately. Also there is a smoked meat sandwich “on rye” on the menu and they offer a bun instead. Also, we didn’t get the nachos we ordered and my husband asked for a salad and got fries. I had time to know the kitchen staff and the servers don't wear masks? will they be vaccinated? all that while they serve? I am looking forward to her answer as I was there two months ago and one wore a mask, is that up to health standards?

we decided to try this pub after last week we had a very disappointing meal at the chucks roadhouse. great service with a smile eating was excellent and fast, although it was packed. highly recommended.

surnachtt in napanee and came over this big pub on the main train. the food was excellent; great pommes. the staff was fast and friendly. atmosphere of a real British pub.

Lots of fun and good pub style eats. I had a great appetizer as well. Enjoyed visiting here with friends. Would recommend

Gf bread and buns. I had a positive experience July 1 for breakfast, but please be cautious.
