we had a series of lunches in the longs arms since it reopened. large menu, wonderful eating, beautiful environment and really friendly, powerful staff. the one article that stops being 5 stars is the young manager. if present, he sits at either one of the tables in the bar with his laptop call instructions and problems policy to the personal. otherwise he tries to reorganize the tables while the customers try to have a quiet lunch. sometimes he treats the personal as if it were idiots. he clearly doesn't listen to the personal, he's routinely speaking to them. we heard that a worker carried out for a table movement that he wanted them not to reach it to serve customers. his answer was to sa...

recently reopened (on 9th february 2022) after an extensive renovation. great decor, better layout. great personal and atmosphere. 6x and bath ales gem on the train bar nibbles also patterned and excellent. Posh-Fries have massive thumbs from the family. nice to see a large amount of people in a beautiful fresh environment. they are looking forward to a meal soon.

our locals after the reopening. my favourites are quite everything: eating, the atmosphere, the really friendly people who work there and how dog friendly it is (our pup yogi is a fan). eating is amazing and really good for the standard of food too! could no longer be satisfied to have a local like this, big thumbs up to the team there

an excellent Sunday dinner for our family. superb bratbeef, perfectly cooked. beautiful veg and yorkhire padded. service friendly and attentive. will definitely book again very soon. Top brands for the long arms team.

So pleased to see it open again. Amazing job with refurb inside and out. Had a light lunch outside with kids and dogs. Absolutely full inside for Sunday lunch. Great spot. Helpful jolly staff.
