We had a table booked for a lunchtime meal to celebrate our Wedding anniversary with our 2 children and we weren't disappointed. We were able to choose our own table and our drinks order was taken immediately. We also ordered 2 starters to share which were the Teriyaki Beef Vegetable Spring Roll and the Wild Mushroom Tortellini. Oh my days both dishes were absolutely delicious and we highly recommend.. For our mains we ordered two 10oz Rump Steaks, the Chicken Schnitzel with a Tomato Mascapone Sauce and the 10oz Rump Steak with half a rack of BBQ Ribs.. Plaudits to the chef, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The landlord was professional and friendly and made every effort to accommodate our choices, getting the chef to provide a shared stater for those of us who didn’t want to leave a party member eating solo. (It was absolutely delicious! Unpretentious pleasant surroundings and absolutely no pressure to leave as we sat chatting, even providing , unprompted, a “doggy bag “ for the remains of the cheese board. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Fantastic Sunday roasts here. Ordered the mixed meat roast and they brought a mountain of meat and potatoes/yorkshire pud. Very generous portion sizes, and the accompanying veg was the same. No chance you’ll leave still feeling hungry. Staff were excellent. Very polite and always happy to help. Defo coming back to try the regular menu at some point. Might skip breakfast that day to make sure I’ve got room. Great work guys.
Wow, what a find! Just had a stunning meal at The Well. We are always on the look out for somewhere to take visiting friends, this will definitely go top of the list. Couldn’t fault a thing from the ambience, service and food. We both had the “special” the cod loin risotto, it was absolutely delicious, we’ll definitely be back.

Great place for a light lunch or a wonderful dinner based on the specials menu. The light lunch gammon egg chips and peas was hardly a light lunch as the portion was large. I had the prawn cocktail which was on a platter and very prawny a great simple lunch .
We had the most amazing meal at the Well last weekend, everyone said that it was the best meal they had had in a very long time, not just at the Well... The service was excellent although a little slow. We'll definately be back there soon.
Lovely lunch time meal, great food and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I had the duck breast which was soo tasty! Would certainly recommend.
Very enjoyable Sunday lunch, good service, pleasant atmosphere. A good honest tasty, fresh Sunday roast, and the puddings were delicious
