This is an excellent addition to the local scene. What Ramsbottom lacked , despite its food and drink reputation, was somewhere with a solid beer choice. Now the imbibers of Ramsbottom can fill their boots with a choice of 5 real ales and 15 craft kegs. There's real cider as well. The place itself is open plan, bright and airy. Full marks for easy accessible toilets as well. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the pricing-unlike some other venues-is reasonable. Talking of payment, it should be mentioned that it's card or device only as I know this is a bone of contention for some. Any niggles? Personally I would like to see them expand their beer remit a little. It's fine in theory...
The latest addition to the Ramsbottom beer scene. Following on similar lines to its sister bar in Rawtenstall its an excellent venue to spend an hour sampling the many craft cask ales on offer. There is usually something to suit everyone's taste, including 5 casks ales (which usually includes a stout, a traditional bitter and two or three golden or hoppy varieties. There are also up to 15 x keg craft ales on offer. This place is certainly worth a visit I'm sure will not disappoint. I just wanted to share some thoughts about our recent visit to the lounge. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, showing remarkable friendliness and willingness to help, especially for families with young babies and strollers. My friends and I, a group of five with sleeping babies in prams, decided to have lunch in Ramsbottom, and we chose the lounge. The staff quickly rearranged the tables to ensure we could all enjoy our meals comfortably. They also provided hot and cold water to warm up baby bottles, always with smiles on their faces. The food was delicious, and the overall service was outstanding! Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable!
Great atmosphere. Really decent selection of ales and an amazing array of gins. It's really cool that you can scan a bar code and see which ales they have, as they change quite regularly. The pizzas are really nice! I've tried them all and they have weekly specials. Sometimes you can be waiting a little, but they are well worth it The staff are friendly and well informed which is really helpful when there's a couple of beers and breweries you don't recognise. My wife and I love this place! The wine is very nice! There 's only one lager called Strange times but it 's a refreshing premium lager. We tried a pizza and it was delicious! Even cheaper on a Wednesday as they 're half price! I believe they do a quiz on a Monday but we 've not been to that yet, but hoping to! Highly recommend for a nice, relaxing ambient feel.
