I have been eating there for over 25-30 years. any other time I would give them definitiw 5 stars, but idk what happened today, except someone was in the meat department to slip! I ordered 2-16” philly steak n käse subs and 1-16” Italian sub and there was hardly anything in it! to say my family was disappointed I would be an understatement as we all day only with quite a lot of just brot with enough meat to finish to add something extra taste! Maybe this was just happening because it was close to time or so. I pray that this is all it is because I hate to think that we never eat again...with the way the dings are now rising with gas prices and food prices, the last thing a customer wants to...
Not sure what's going on with the food at Lyons Den. My last visit was about a year ago and I gave my food a 5 star rating, but after today's visit it barely deserves a 1 star rating. I ordered the same as always, a cheese pizza and a ham and cheese sub. Totally disappointed. I couldn't even finish my entire sub. My dog ate it though. The appearance of the food looks great but it's lacking that flavor that sets the Lyons Den apart from all the other pizza places, that taste that makes the Lyons Den the Lyons Den. Oh well, time to find a new pizza place cause I won't be going back to the Lyons Den after today's experience. I do have to say this, they still make a great cup of sweet tea!!
Whenever we were in town in the late 1990s and early 2000s, we would eat here. We and our kids liked it. So my wife and I were in town to see a play recently and decided to try it again after several years. We were very disappointed. The place is really run down, and the pizza was just not good. We won't be back. We just didn't like the food.

I have a huge pizza for about $20. 5 people with rest for days. the quality was excellent, the cheese made me happy, and crust left an excellent aftertaste in my mouth. Five stars. was so happy with the price I left a 5 dollar tipp in the drink glass.
People here are so NICE!! Service was good. Tables was dirty,but as soon as I walked in. They was on TOP of things. I suggest to get the Stromboli. See how cleen.
Have eaten here for years and the food is always great. The customer service is awesome as well as the sweet tea is second to none....
Love lyons eating me and my family and enjoying for many years eating out lyons that and hopefully will be many more years.
