The Mad Moose - Reserva de mesa

D and I visited the Mad Moose last weekend. He tells me he loves chilli and all things hot, so I took him to try the Mad Moose Fire in the Hole pizza. We sat near the front window and were served straight away. All I wanted was one of their dessert pizzas, but had a small Mad Moose pizza first.Yes, D told me, it is very hot. Haha a thick chilli/tomato base made it extremely warm to the palate. Did I mention triple jalapenos and chilli? Yep it did the trick and was aptly named even the day after. Had a father daughter late lunch at MM. Kitchy cute pizza/pasta cafe next to Yarraville station. Daughter loves their garlic pizza.Shared a large pizza. Kiddo had a iced choc while I had a light beer. Place had constant custom. Iced choc is no longer the iced choc of yesteryear. Gimme back the malted milk spiders !Pizza was half Salmon Rushdie with sour cream dollops and half Meat lover type. Did not skimp on toppings and very yummy. Ingredients were primo and it was a decent size as the teen is a good eater and only had 1/3. I'm a guts but we still had 1/3 leftovers which they kindly boxed.$42 all up. Great value considering the trendy location etc .

The pizzas at Mad Moose were highly recommended and we weren't disappointed. Sadly, one of my family is lactose intolerant which means normally no pizza -but the toppings on these pizzas are so tasty they don't require cheese. No soy cheese is available (we asked) and the bases do contain trace dairy - so if you're very intolerant then you will have to have a GF base. It's a little on the expensive side (~$28 for a large pizza), but the servings are large and worth the extra. If you have a child who likes trains the location next to the railway line will prove to be a hit.

Pizzas really average. All about quantity. Definitely not quality - apart from loads of cheese very tasteless (particularly meat). Charge you extra if you ask them to exclude something from part of the pizza!!! $28 or so for a large tasteless pizza not worth it! Many better places near by. Wouldn't go back. The pizzas are probably not traditional, but the combination of ingredients is certainly good and the pizzas are loaded!Another great thing is that there are several vegetarian options to choose.We had our pizza to take away and the staff was fast, friendly and very smily.I would come back.

weird combination of pizzas, somehow they seem to work let's say most of them. tried a couple of pizzas were mostly nice. they seem to push their desert pizzas dint have any room to try those. the ambience was casual. good place for a quick bite.

Poor quality ingredients, tastes like your average chain pizza store but worse. Their fire in the hole pizza had 4 layers of chilli flakes covering the whole base - was not edible because it you could only basically just taste chilli flakes.

I went here tonight with a few people and I didn't enjoy it. The ingredients don't seem to be high quality and the pizzas weren't great. They don't have enough traditional options. The garlic bread was great though! Reserva una mesa ahora

Have had pizza here with friends the place is always full and the pizzas are nice the staff are friendly there are dessert pizzas as well and pizzas are great value a great placed to come.

These guys do really yummy pizzas with toppings that are out of the ordinary that you would get in your standard pizza shop - highly recommended!
