After doing some research on where to eat gluten-free in Rochdale, we decided to try out Medicine Tap based on a recommendation from the helpful man at Touchstones. Initially, it seemed like only the fries and steak were gluten-free options, but after asking, we learned they could also make gluten-free pizza using special dough. The meal was excellent for both gluten-free and non-gluten-free eaters in our family, with delicious flavors and quick, friendly service. The staff was accommodating and we enjoyed the music as well. While I cannot confirm how strictly they adhere to gluten-free standards in the kitchen, the staff was helpful and I'm sure they would answer any further questions. They...
We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at The Medicine Tap! Gorgeous rhubarb and ginger gin, sandwiches were hearty and really tasty. The selection of cakes was great amazing carrot cake, super soft chocolate muffins. A really laid back atmosphere, not pretentious at all, and the whole feel of the place is lovely. We'll be back again soon, really really enjoyed it!
I visited the restaurant today and enjoyed excellent food with good, pleasant service in a quality venue. Although it is quite expensive, the high prices are justified by the quality of the experience. I definitely recommend this restaurant, but the only downside is that there is no nearby parking due to the renovation of the town hall and surrounding area.
Absolutely wonderful bar undoubtedly the pride of Rochdale. Really good selection of beers, friendly, knowledgeable bar staff and a great crowd. Plenty of space to sit and chat, a great menu and while I can’t speak for the ladies, the gents bathrooms are a surprisingly innovative. on Sunday to eat. friendly staff, good choice of eating. my wife had a Sunday roast and I had fish and chips. the food was well presented and very, very tasty. it is not the cheapest place in the city center, but according to my opinion everyone is worth it. a large selection of beer, real ales, etc. I am back soon.
We were served by Niamh, who was friendly and courteous and did everything to make us welcome including indulging my friend’s request to serve her vodka in a ‘gin style fishbowl’. Steak sandwich and chips was huge. Tasty peppercorn sauce. A bit on the expensive side, but two of us shared. Good value wine list.
Myself and some friends tried the free flow Friday deal. This comprises of a mains, free flow cocktails and drinks. We had a generous and tasty meal, pornstar Martinis, cherry sours, coffee martini and prosecco. The ladies serving us were attentive and friendly. The deal was well worth the £34.95. Thankyou
