Flavour mostly great, but felt short changed. Been before, money wasn’t an issue, ordered food tasted great. Went today on the way back from something, but feel a bit disappointed. Couldn’t choose between the club sarnie, the chorizo and red pepper crostini and the dhal, so opted for all 3. The club sandwich offers maximum flavour, but lacks on substance for me. If I’m paying £13,50 for a club sandwich I want to be remotely full at the end attached is a picture of one of the 2 same sized pieces of chicken not good enough. I’ve been for lunch a couple of times at weekends but today my husband and I were without our 12 year old and the dog and I wanted him to experience the food. It was busy enough to have a lovely atmosphere but quiet enough to get a table without queuing. He had the tart of the day (leek and feta) whilst I had the gorgeous scrambled egg with spicy chorizo and roast tomatoes. Everything was without fault, wonderfully flavoursome and delicious. We have been coming here regularly for many years but it just does not feel the same any more. We have enjoyed many club sandwiches, milwaukee rye etc and used to recommend the Milk Shed to friends. However the prices now seem to have gone up considerably but the worst thing is the atmosphere, none of the staff seem very friendly or welcoming and one member of staff in particular seems very abrupt and rude. It's such a shame, this used to be our favourite place for brunch or lunch or even just a milkshake and cake but not any more unfortunately
Four of us for my wife’s Birthday lunch. Food and service was excellent as usual. Friendly and helpful staff with tasty imaginative food. I can’t say it’s the cheapest but I’m certainly not complaining- since Covid with restaurants opening up again we have found that quality and value for money is scarce so well done he Milk Shed I hope it continues to thrive. Get our recommendation every time.

The staff were friendly and attentive, but the lack of checking in on us was noticeable. We ordered beans on toast with three slices of streaky bacon, scrambled eggs on toast, a tea, and a flat white, which came out to £32.30. As a catering outlet owner, I know the costs involved and found this to be ridiculously expensive.
What a blissful oasis on our long journey from Yorkshire to Dorset! The atmosphere was fizzing and the food fantastic. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and the service swift. I would highly recommend a visit and we shall certainly be returning soon!
Arrived at 1230 on a Tuesday and the place was packed by 1245, usual menu plus 3 specials, we ate an excellent club sandwich, cheese tart special and eggs and salmon, well presented, tasty and good sized portions, good coffee. V good will return
I stopped by for a spontaneous lunch and it was definitely worth it. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the venue had a great relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend a visit. Thank you.

This place has amazing food. The big thing for me is that the food served doesn't have all the preservatives in it like in the states. Excellent ,and I fant stress excellent enough place to eat
The menu was excellent and the food was amazing, as usual. The staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning when we are back in the area.
