Popped in for lunch has we had been shopping., and not been to the millhouse in a long time.Thought it would be good because only a few people in. Put order in and I must say i lost my will to live waiting for our...meals. We waited over 30 minutes, now if it was packed I could have understood it but no it was practically empty. The very nice waitress (gorgeous eyelashes) who brought our meals apologised for the wait. Food very nice but lost a lot of points for the wait. Would we go again? Probably not but never say never because food was ok.Thanks to the nice waitress x
this afternoon the millhouse visited with family and friends as unexpected tasty bites. we had not booked a table and the owner was very courteous, especially since they were fully booked until later this evening. the service we have received was error-free and I am so glad that this place has the great atmosphere he has made a few years ago. Although we were made aware of food times, it came faster than advised and eating was amazing. I recommend the steak peppercorn! millhouse, we'll be back soon.
I really enjoy this pub for the drink but we tried food here and the service was terrible. 1 young girl was left to do mostly everything and we was left with empty starter plates for about 20 mins before my boyfriend had to go...place it on the bar to make them aware we’d finished and was ready for mains. They knew our plates were empty as they looked over several times but didn’t bother to come get them
after the work for a drink and had a nice reception from the bar staff, a week later went back and they remembered what we had to drink last time! it is nice to go to a pub that serves food, but a bar...and sitting area for those who only want a beautiful drink, a thing that many pubs miss today. the new owners are open to feedback and accept comments on board to make the experience even better.

Visited today with my nephew, who was super excited to find it was dog friendly and we could bring my springer spaniel. Food was lovely! Freshly cooked and tasty and great portion sizes. Nice selection on the menu. Staff were friendly and so helpful! Highly...recommended and we will be back for sure
I visited here tonight with my friends, what a turn around this place has had! The staff, the owners, the atmosphere!! 10* !! The food was perfect, beautifully cooked steak. Such a great place to come after work. Will be returning more often!!
absolutely amazing staff now under new management! here my little boy has the first birthday and it was amazing! owners are so nice, helped me decorate the venue, I could not be thankful anymore! many thanks, oliver had the best day
Our local opened its doors again for the first time In 5 weeks. The managers are down to earth and went above and beyond during our stay there. The welcoming was lovely, the place was clean and fresh. We will certainly be returning!
