The Millstream At The Bell Inn

This was the second time we have visited the Bell Inn for Sunday lunch. Not sure what's going on with the tables as they always seem sticky. To be fair there was a member of staff cleaning the tables, so maybe we were just unlucky, although she did seem to spray all over the adjacent tables salt and pepper sachets as well. Service and the pricing was good. I had the lamb which was plentiful and nicely cooked, however there were a few things that were definitely different to our last visit. The dinner already had gravy on it, which is a bugbear of mine and I would of preferred to be able to distribute where and of what quantity of gravy I would like. A jug would of been a better option. was here for dinner 8/11/2023 didn't have my phone to take photos ..this was the most delicious meal we had through our entire tour of Europe we had the Duck , Chicken curry and Lamb potato gratin meals came with a side of veg ..not only were the staff absolutely lovely the food was PERFECTION!! The lamb was cooked to perfection!! The cut the portion size ,the sauce the way it was plated everything about my dish was absolutely memorable !!!... it made my taste buds sing !! God save English cusine If I had known it would be our last night in Hythe I would of thanked the chef personally So THANK YOU CHEF I will never forget that meal

eating here is indisputably excellent. the staff is very helpful and is always on call. the portions are excellent and the willing of everything they can do for children. waiting for their meal is about average. the restaurant has a beautiful rustic feeling. my favorite meal is the meat plate.

mumbai burger. I had blown my mind ingeniously. hubby's curry was brilliant. came in a super busy time, but they were efficient and the scrub was delicious. we will come back soon to taste more beautiful food. Reserva una mesa ahora

never heard of this place....where we decided to stop and had a wonderful experience! eating is notch! 4 of us travel from 5,000 miles away and we feel new friends as now. I miss this place.

When the weather is good and there are people outside drinking and eating, it can feel a bit short staffed. But they do their best under the circumstances. Food ok and reasonably priced.

a nice cozy place to have a relaxed meal. a simple but varied menu and very friendly staff. excellent food and good value. will definitely go back.
