This was the worst macaroni I have ever tasted. I came here because the restaurant was fully booked, but there were only a few tables occupied all night. I would prefer no staff rather than being overbooked, as this place has a lot of potential. The macaroni was even worse than canned macaroni. The chips were decent. Overall, I was disappointed and do not plan on returning. If the quality improved, I would definitely come back more often.
I went to this café last night for dinner. The burger bun was hard in some parts and had no taste. The chips were also cold. Two of us ordered cheeseburgers, one got macaroni and cheese, and another ordered a small fish supper. The batter on the fish was soggy, and the chips were cold again. The sauce sachets we received did not taste like tomato or brown sauce. I was very disappointed and will not be returning to this place.
We visited the Mirador and had a selection of things from full breakfasts to coffee and cake. They didn't offer any milk alternatives unfortunately (rare these days) so I settled for a black americano. The coffee was very nice, much better than expected. But the Millionaires slice was the beat I've had yet. Lovely and clean building. Would highly recommend a visit before/after a visit to the play park across the road.
We entered the Mirador cafe today and felt as if we had intruded no welcome or even a friendly smile. The cafe is really nice inside, the food is good but quite expensive. There is no Wi fi available for customers to use which was a shame as none of us could get internet on our phones and we were trying to arrange an alternative activity to the outdoor activity we had planned as the weather was bad. Had lunch here after just arriving. We sat outside at first but the wasps got the better of us so came inside and the staff helped us move inside and put tables together for us. The staff were friendly. We ordered burgers and chips from the light bites menu and a kids sausage chips and beans. The food was really good and definitely offered value for money. Would definitely recommend.
