The Mowbray - Reserva de mesa

Dropped into The Mowbray for the second time on my job visits through Sydney. Chose the Sarnie and juice. Just agreed with the lovely girl attending me as to what to make. The sandwich came back and it was awesome, healthy, very tasty and its a while since I tasted fresh succulent chicken - bonus being in a sourdough sandwich. Combine this with a drink and all for $10. Had the sandwich take away, but the interior looks great for locals to enjoy a relaxing lunch or evening. Well done to the team, you make a great lunch - with a smile......

I often go to The Mowbray on weekends with my wife and kids for either breakfast or lunch. The menu is small but the food is always good.The chicken burger for lunch is the pick of the non breakfast items and has a great chilli kick.Excellent coffee and OJ.My only criticisms are that the staff often seem to have friends in the cafe and they are slow to serve the customers and they have adopted the memory test way of taking an order rather than writing it down which has on occasion resulted in things being forgotten.

Had an awesome lunch here. Full of flavours that all worked. Simple smashed avocado with poached egg but with the addition of smoked trout goats curd and various seeds and raisins. Taste sensation. Wifey had chick pea salad with fetta and heirloom tomatoes and smoked trout. Thoroughly enjoyed everything including the exposed brickwork environment.

We have dropped in a few times to The Mowbray which is located close to a fairly busy corner. Some creative simple planning has brought to life a once dull spot. Simple and attractive with the addition of good coffee, good food, always smiling service means that we will continue to drop in. Again. And again. My new local. Reserva una mesa ahora

Well, it was only 145pm on Melbourne Cup day when I was greeted warmly with the news that the Kitchen had closed. (How dare management go easy on staff on Melb Cup Day!)I was about to leave, channelling my mean nasty self when Theo invited me to stay for a Chicken

Thank you for bringing a decent Hipster cafe to Willoughby. Great coffee and equally good food - great for a business catchup and equally good with the kids on weekends. Parking is available about 100m away in the council car park.

Amazing cafe. Great coffee and food is incredible. Recommend the Avo sandwich and truffle scrambled eggs. Of course you have to try the egg and bacon roll (bayo?). Service and atmosphere is great. Thanks guys.
