regrettable when we arrived, but we had booked. fast to order drinks to take/out, then we were told that there was a backlog in the kitchen. determined to order only net that came an hour after drinks. had to go into the bar to get additional drinks. Slowly. to ask if we wanted Dessert/Coffe until what time we had enough. then the card machine did not work and we paid money instead of waiting longer until it was connected. eating was good, but not good overall experience. they told us about Kitchen Backlog, but we didn't know how long, and we had committed until then.
I've been coming to the Novar bar for years for food and drink and the good is always 10/10. Amazing customer service from the staff and a lovely atmosphere with right temperature.they have a little beer garden out front too where you can sit and chill when the days are really nice. If they could bring back the sharing platter that used to be on the menu too that would be amazing. It's the one thing I miss from the Novar bar Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
After ordering our food, we waited for over an hour before speaking to the staff. They informed us it would be another 10 minutes, but during this time, other customers arrived, were served, and finished their meals before us. There were no apologies or explanations for the delay. Overall, the food and service both received a score of 1.
The waitstaff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making our dining experience enjoyable from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with dim lighting and stylish decor creating a relaxing and intimate setting. Overall, a fantastic restaurant with top-notch service and ambiance.
