This review is for the bar area. Won't return to the restaurant area after horrid birthday experience. We went to the lounge for karaoke and for the banana cream pie. It's the best dessert in the Villages bar none. However, it's decadence still does not trump the crusty musty old lounge area and it's simply awful menu. It's geared towards a Vegas 60's bar crowd era that has not evolved one bit. That being said, it's mildly nostalgic to see patrons dressed the same with their clouds of smoke surrounding them (albeit outside now) Lunch menu til 4 is bland. Bar menu from 4 5 is beyond disgusting with fried Florida options, then dinner at 5 kinda mimics the fine dining area. You'd think the pizza would be stellar given that Paulie is from the NYC area but nope. It's bland even for Florida pizza. Overall it's the one of the most depressing establishments around in a poor trailer park community, which could make it a cool retro place but it's not. You notice the clanky old rusty golf carts immediately as you enter the grounds. I guess the bar menu is geared towards them only, which is fine. We don't think we'll ever return. It's just too depressing.
