We visited the pub about 4 o’clock, nice decor but unfortunately my friend has a nut allergy we asked at the bar if Some cakes had nuts in. Bing from a waitress point of view You should’ve realised that your customer had a nut allergy or even confirmed it with a customer, the cake we ended up buying had walnuts in it. The cake was labeled incorrectly and was labeled as a different cake. My friend started to flareup, we didn’t have to get an ambulance out due to having medication. We approached the manager and just seem to argue with us that my friend should’ve had a card on her, and putting it back on the customer which is unacceptable. We didn’t ask for a refund as some of the cake had been eaten but wanted to make the manager aware that this is dangerous. She was extremely defensive and argumentative and made it out like it was my friends fault, even though she had asked. Service: 1

Called in briefly on Wednesday. Nice drop of beer, friendly barman, and, unusually, pastries for sale on the counter as well as cigars. Tried one of the former £2.50), which though small, was tasty and quite filling... Food drinks: Beer was a nice one can't remember what it was) and the pastry was tasty, although some might have found it a bit too rich and sweet... Friendly service. Chic and comfortable accommodation. Perfect for Stroud and surrounding countryside. 5 mins walk from Petersfield station. I'm sorry I was only there for one night. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Quiet, Great value

Good pub for drinking, with beer that's always good. Wine and spirits selection is also very nice. Located close to station and the centre of town. Lovely little garden for summer Favourite bar in Petersfield. Service: 5 Location: 5
