The Old Ford Inn - Reservar una mesa

This is two reviews really. I went with my mother on a Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed my roast dinner. My wife has gone with her mother, sister and niece for the mothers day Sunday lunch and wouldn't go back. So the difference between the two days. On the Saturday, they served a white meat to start with which must be the most popular. Obviously have a choice but I do think you should always serve a white meat so my niece went without meat. Also, on the Saturday the food came already on the plate. So there was no sharing bowls. The big difference with the Sunday was there was 4 people and they brought one large bowl with all the veg on it and on top of the peas and carrots was cauliflower ch...

Wow!!! Where to start, I don’t know the name of our server tonight but she was the most friendliest politest girl I have ever met! She was extremely helpful, my dad has MND and his speech isn’t the best, we took our order and the server was amazing, didn’t look down on him or judge him it was amazing I could of cried happy tears she was just amazing! my dad was happy so this will be our place to take him as he felt really comfortable. Also the food was amazing too! Can’t thank you enough.

Underwhelming. Tasty meat pie but heated with gravy on top so pastry was soggy. Choice of two draft beers, both tasted sour. Landlord said they tasted OK as far as he was concerned but accepted the returned pints. Nice view though.

This restaurant is located just outside of Brecon and it is absolutely lovely. The staff is fantastic, the food is superb, and the ambiance is great. If you're looking for a fantastic place to eat, this is it. Thank you, Steve.
