The Old Hall Tavern

My husband and I visited The Old Hall Tavern to try out their menu as we had been recommended. We found the pub to be quite busy with other customers but it would seem we were the only people eating there. Should this have been an omen. We ordered the beef and ale pie with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The meals arrived after about a 15, minute wait ,which was fair. It was quite a substantial meal but the crust ont the pie was hard and overdone. The contents were tasty. The runner beans were 'all dente ' which is how I like them but my husband complained they were not cooked enough. The staff were friendly but the general appearance of the pub was not very clean. Looking for somewhere to eat, stumbled across the reviews and decided to chance it... what a lovely surprise! Offer on a bottle of wine set us in right frame of mind- buy 2 glasses and get rest of bottle free! £11 for a bottle of Pinot ? Dont mind if I do... we had mac n cheese and breaded mushroom starters- both delicious and piping hot with a beautifully prepared side salad. Mains, I had the steak pie and pete had the bacon chops- both lovely. Found the locals very chatty and friendly and Emer was great and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Had a lovely meal and we will be back soon!

I came here for a night out with some friends on a Friday night, when I arrived they had a Disco there which was very good, people was having a good time with no problems at all. I decided to have my 60th birthday bash there as was so good. Kellie and her Partner (The Management) made the night go really well. All my guests had a great time. Well Done Kellie for sorting this out !!!!

My friends and I just had another brilliant evening at ‘The Old Hall Tavern’. Last night was Karaoke, and what a night. Singing and dancing the night away. The couple hosting were brilliant, interacting with everyone. The bar staff were as friendly as always. We will definitely be returning. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great place to go for drinks. Usually have karaoke on a Friday night which is a good laugh. Food is great too! The little blonde lady behind the bar is really welcoming. Genuinely a great pub with great service.

New rules re covid are hard but staff need to be more observant so customers are not waiting too long especially when not busy... then the staff member becomes defensive with smart comments !

Everything about this pub was perfect! Great quick service for food and drink. Fish finger sandwich was lovely : very clean and welcoming. Cannot wait to visit again.

Rubbish outdated pub the bar staff all druggys. They know the customer are all using drugs. Police raid coming soon.
