Lovely pub- we're visiting this place few times a month whenever we're in the area and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is amazing and owners very friendly. Sitting space inside and outside and dogs are welcome. Very recommended for a quick pint or relaxing evening with family and friends. Food drinks: Great pub with very good food in reasonable prices. We made a reservation for a table for five since we were staying nearby, but two additional people joined us, resulting in a total of seven at the table. We didn't mind waiting for the last two guests to arrive, and the friendly hosts were very accommodating. The pub was spotlessly clean and the staff were incredibly welcoming. When we first came across The place approximately 3yrs ago. The Service and The Carvery etc was Excellent. But we went back today and we were amazed. The Quality of The Food was Very Very Poor. The Service Very unprofessional and was informed by a member of Staff. That we were to be expected of this due to it being there 1st day of opening The Carvery. NO EXCUSES. Five stars from me, my family and friends. Have now been on multiple occasions for both drinks and food. Always a friendly welcome and good atmosphere no matter how quiet or busy the pub is. The chef has a talent for cooking steaks, our table ordered a rare, medium Rare and medium and all came out perfectly. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quick sandwich, an awesome Sunday lunch or a meal with the family. Service: 5 Location: 5

During storm babet, I was returning from work and every road was unfortunately closed, upon arriving to this pub in which the road ahead was shut, I was welcomed in to use the facilities and I was given a lovely hot chocolate with help with directions of possible routes home, Thank you to all those involved, really generous and genuine people Service: 5
