We visited on a cold, wet Monday evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This is our 4th year visiting the beautiful misty Isle, and needless to say, we absolutely love Skye. The restaurant was welcoming, warm, and relaxed yet totally professional. We had a trio of fish and a blue cheese salad as starter's followed by fish and chips. I realise this doesn't sound overly exciting, but both courses were absolutely amazing. My beautiful wife and I can honestly say we haven't ever had fish and chips that were as good, fresh, and thoroughly enjoyable for many a year. Stayed a couple of nights at the local campsite and ventured in to the lounge the first night for a pint in front of the real fire which was great .Bar staff Dylan very helpful mixing any drinks requested and the locals in the bar great fun. The second night had booked in for food in the restaurant which was delicious couldn’t fault it did feel terrible when due to paying contactless the tech was unable to let me leave a tip ! Won’t make that mistake again when I’m back on Skye cash will be in my pocket:
Remarkable to find this kind of food so far from an urban center. Local seafood fresh and delicious huge portion of fish and chips; seafood stew with a taste of everything in a rich, delicious sauce; tasty vegetarian orzo with roasted vegetables. Stop in the small pub area before or after dinner for whisky by the wood fire.
Visited for dinner during our recent stay on Skye and we were impressed with the quality of the food and the service we received. The restaurant was busy on the Monday evening of our visit, which was a good sign, and we were not disappointed with our choice. We would definitely visit again if in the area.

We visit this restaurant every year we come to Skye and it never disappoints! The quality of the food and portion sizes are incredible. Brilliant friendly service from the lovely Cath makes you feel very welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area
A splendid meal. Spacious setting. Excellent service. Everything’s fresh. Seems like one of those places that never has an off day. We started with soup and a blue cheese salad. Then: seafood all around. From fish and chips to the Medley, delicious. A-1.
Absolutely delicious food and a very imaginative menu. Without exception, the people who took our orders, served our food and cleared the table were polite and cheerful. It’s worth a trip to Dunvegen just to eat here!
Lovely surroundings so “old school” loved the open fires very cozy, food was AMAZING service was very quick and staff were extremely pleasant overall was a lovely way to spend our last night in Skye.

Booked a table for dinner and am so glad we did. Wonderful staff offered a warm welcome, the food was absolutely delicious and pricing was reasonable. The best meal we've had on our NC500 experience.
