We visited on Friday evening for a drink. The staff didn’t appear to know what they were doing. They were serving people at the bar that were coming after others and ignoring customers that had waited longer. After eventually being served and sitting down with our drinks we decided to have a meal. My wife wanted the chicken pie and I ordered the falafel burger in a bun with an egg and fries. When it came, my burger and fries were presented in a cardboard box like a takeaway, my wife’s did come on a plate. It was poorly presented not cheap and we were really disappointed. Stopped off for a quick lunch and was delighted to see that the Swan Inn was open. A lovely little pub with a nice choice of menu. Our lunch was outstanding and the customer service was spot on. Family highly recommends the goat cheese starters and the beef burger, and my cheese and chutney baguette was divine. It was rainy, so unfortunately, we couldn't take advantage of the sizeable beer garden. Covid 19 regulation was fully complied with and we felt extremely comfortable. Definitely a place we will visit again soon.
beautiful place to go with friends and family all the staff were helpful and friendly especially the manager charlie who was very attentive. all our meals were excellent well done to the chef my meal was so beautiful reminds me of my mums gorgeous homemade meals . nice deco and cleaner relaxing place I will definitely go back we already have our table for the 26th. märz booked many thanks to all employees anne x
Burger with 1 rasher of bacon and over cooked skinny fries that look like it was thrown on the plate. It was terribly presented, no salad in the bun or as garnish on the side at £18 it was extremely disappointing and would not go back and left feeling hungry and cheated. In contrast the fish and chips looked good with Proper chips etc.

We were staying in the village and the taxi driver recommended this place for a bite to eat! Great recommendation as we both had superb meals (vegan curry aubergine tagliatelle) and such a welcoming staff team! Really enjoyed our visit and would very much recommend!
nice lunch, joking starter with mango salsa was beautiful. pie of the day was decent, but gravy a tade too watery for my lust. eton mess was beautiful and had recommended an interesting presentation.
The meal was fantastic and the service was excellent. The restaurant highlights Welsh cuisine and beverages. It is definitely worth a visit in the center of Llantwit Major.
We've never had the best Sunday dinner. the quality and taste were excellent. Finally, we found somewhere where we would eat again. superb. thank you!

cozy atmosphere, the staff is helpful and friendly. if they are in the opposite, this place is perfect for Saturday afternoon drinks and pub menu.
Amazing fish and chips. Home made sauces. Great choice of drinks. Lovely staff and fab choice of music playing. Perfect Saturday lunch
