Tucked in a small alleyway, this restaurant is off the main road. Greeted by a friendly waiter, his service was excellent to the end of our dinner experience.
Then comes to ordering time, with limited choice on the summer menu, it doesn't bother us as we 3 couples have same taste.
The girls ordered the salmon and the boys ordered the steaks and stuffed chicken. The steak was cooked to perfection, with just the right charred. Salmon was good especially with the shellfish sauce. Stuffed chicken was the only let down, a lil overcooked and dried.

Four of us went to The Olive Tree for dinner on Saturday night. Had been disappointed the last time we were there about 4 years ago. Noticed it had changed hands.Great value. We all had the four course set menu for $51.50, which was great value in itself as we find Perth to be overpriced for restaurant meals compared to other cities.The food and service couldn't be faulted whatsoever. The meals were presented together, in a timely manner, and looked and tasted lovely.We will all go back, and would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

We had not been there for some years. It was surprisingly very good. We have come to always expect some disappointment when we go out to dinner but this time everything was either OK, good or very good., Welcome was 80%, table / ambience was 75%, the service generally was 80%, the food was 90% (no grumbles from any of we four) the prices were as expected and wine prices were very reasonable (a nice change from the norm in Perth restaurants).
This is one of the closest experiences you will get in Perth to a real French bistro.
Set in an old house, small dining areas and a changing by set menu (or as the French would say; menu prix).
I have never been disappointed by the food and have enjoyed the often boistrous atmosphere of celebrations which are frequent.
One of the best value 4 course menus you are ever going to find in this town!
I like this restaurant. Real food, good value and tasty. Excellent for dinner. Also a great function room at the rear which is perfect for gatherings of less than 100 people. Enjoy!

We really enjoyed our meal here. We shared a prawn cocktail modern style with fennel salad. I could have had that for main as well. Our chicken and the cannelloni were delicious. Wine prices were reasonable. We will return.
Got a Groupon for this place and was one of the best 3 course meals I've had in Perth for a long time. The chicken main was delicious and the sticky date pudding was amazing. Will definitely be back again :)
