Staff mostly youth are friendly and kind. Not worth the price or time. I usually make breakfast at home but was in a bind and needed something quick. I asked the manager/owner for a little coffee while I waited (24 minutes already) and they were not finished with our food. He said sure $2. The food was done about 17 minutes later. The waffle batter is not good. Nobody ate the waffles after one bite. The pancakes were meh. Found out my 11 yo son didn?t even eat all of them after I thought he did. The chicken tenders were part hard and super crunchy. We expected chicken wings especially for the price. We won?t be back because honestly McDonalds would have been much better food quality portions...
I share the negative sentiments expressed in other reviews. I had a similar experience. My omelet didn't resemble an actual omelet; it was dry, and I only managed to eat it because my children and I were hungry. I was not impressed. My son ordered three eggs, toast, sausage links, and orange juice, which cost $20—quite outrageous. The service was disappointing as well; the server couldn’t get my order right and I found myself having to repeat it multiple times. When the food finally arrived, it was still incorrect. I won’t be coming back. I was hopeful because of the restaurant's reputation, but in hindsight, I should have listened to the reviews. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
I absolutely love it here! If you love omelettes, you have to try one from here. You won't be disappointed! The health score was a little low this time around but I blame the county for not doing an inspection in the past year or more as I'm sure they always fix whatever the issue is. I don't eat out much these days so today was a real treat. If you want some good food and something different than your usual eatery, you should definitely check out the Original Pancake House!
The Stone Mountain Original Pancake House is in a modest round building that reminds me of the “mushroom cap” buildings that many older Mellow Mushrooms are found in. OHOP outshines IHOP. This restaurant serves thick-cut bacon and real eggs that will leave you feeling sluggish by the afternoon. It's an excellent diner-style breakfast at an affordable price. The service can be inconsistent, and their hours are a bit unusual, but they certainly deliver on what you need.
Some of the best employees you can find. Super helpful in ordering and gave us a lot of attention. The food was excellent and obviously pancakes were excellent. The chocolate cake was so different from the Dutch pancakes. While we can't dinate much, we will order them from now on via pickup!
I strongly advise against arriving at 7 when they claim to open, as they’re rarely ready on time and always seem to have excuses. It’s a waste of time. Consider visiting a different location instead of Stone Mountain!
Not impressed. We came in for coffee. I received my cup, but after waiting 25 minutes, all I got was a cold taco salad and a refill on my coffee. My husband's pancake was inedible. It was a waste of time and money.
