The Ottoman Grill - Reserva de mesa

Coming from England, this Turkish Grill restaurant doesn't have the range of dishes that we would normally expect. Also, we would normally expect to see the ocakbaşı at the front of the restaurant, and to be able to inspect the range of marinated meats ready to be grilled. Here it is hidden away at the back. This might have something to do with Australian regulations! However, the range of dips and bread were excellent, and the quality of the grilled meats was very high. On a bustling Saturday night, we received friendly service that was a bit faster than we expected, with extra assistance in choosing a wine. Opting for the banquet option eliminated the need to make tough decisions on what to order. The platter of six dips was generous and tasty, accompanied by excellent bread. The mixed grill main dish was tender and flavorful, featuring a delightful combination of chicken, beef, meatballs, rice, and veggies. The baklava was light and scrumptious. Although the noise from a nearby table was a bit intrusive until they left, the owner is working on ways to reduce it. Overall, this restaurant has become a new favorite for me.

On a busy Saturday night, we got friendly service, if anything slightly quicker than we needed, and extra help with choosing wine. Choosing the banquet saved any tough decisions on food. The generous platter of six dips was delicious and the bread excellent. The mixed grill' main was tender and tasty and a pleasant variety of chicken, beef, meatball, rice and vegetable. The baklava was light and delicious. A table next to us was loud and caused everyone to raise their voices so noise was intrusive until that table left, but no more than dozens of modern cafes are every day. The owner is looking at ways to mute things. A new favourite for me.

Family restaurant with delicious Turkish food We booked after movies and was perfect The pide was great and with effes beer and Turkish meatballs yummy Finished off with Turkish coffee and Turkish delight hmmmm Lovely family atmosphere with wonderful owners We didn’t have the dips this time but they are super and next time we’ll have the banquet Reserva una mesa ahora

Authentic Turkish cuisine. Pity not to be able to see the ocakbasi. Dips are the best feature especially the fresh chilli dip with walnuts. Coming from UK, we find the meat a little overcooked. The breads are excellent. Will be going back soon.

I was disappointed with the portion size of the food that was served. The banquet, priced at $29 per person (with a minimum of 2 people), was small, and the pizza was expensive for the quantity received.
