The Pack Horse Inn

Called in so late on Sunday it looked as if the kitchen had started to close. The fabulous staff still happily provided us with a Sunday roast and veg pie, both meals were really well cooked and gratefully received. If you are looking for good, plentiful food then our experience would suggest you couldn't do much better than visit this lovely pub.

We booked a table for Sunday lunch in December. It was amazing. Such a gorgeous little pub. With log burner and cure Christmas decorations. I had the turkey Sunday lunch with all the trimmings including pigs in blankets. Roasters to die for! Hubby had the beef and Stilton homemade pie. Again delicious Thank you

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch, with incredibly friendly staff. After a long day of walking in the Peak District, the warm and cozy atmosphere was exactly what I needed. I highly recommend this place!

Lovely traditional country pub with spectacular views. Dog friendly, good selection of beers and tasty food. Very popular with hikers. Very nice beer garden with little huts to sit in as well as benches.

A hidden gem! The spacious atmosphere, outstanding food, and great beer really impressed me. The service was incredibly quick, all at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend checking it out!

Don't drive by this little gem. Superb boozer with traditional, well kept ales and great pub food. A pint of Barnsley bitter and a beef pepper pie, delicious. Reserva una mesa ahora

The staff sure keep a warm welcome in the hillside! Good food and a rack of fine ales. Well worth the jaunt across some beautiful Moorlands scenery
