We passed this place many times and never tried to go in. The first time we did go on we were advised we needed to have reservations. I don't know of that is all of the time or if it is just during the busy periods only. But I finally made the reservation and got a table for us to go and try this restaurant out. It was busy and packed, so the reservations, at least at that time made sense. Apparently our table wasn't ready so they offered us another table with high chairs and gave us a free round of drinks. So friends took my husband I out to this restaurant where we were seated in the back. I don 't know if they were trying to conserve energy or didn 't decide to pay their energy bill, but there was NO air moving in that place on one of the hottest days of the year. The heat was so oppressive that we couldn 't even enjoy ourselves b/c we were sweating the whole time. My husband pointed out there was a tiny a.c split system in the corner that obviously wasn 't keeping up with the demand! So I ran out of time before we got there to google this restaurant their menu. Not sure who dives the crabs, but what about all the fat, cream cheese and this thick layer of cold cheese on everything. That was not a crab dive, that was cream cheese with balls of cheese and too much oil or butter whatever. I couldn't separate the flavors except the cream cheese or say whether it was crabs in the crab dive or not, the role was soggy. I wasn't sure what to do with it, so I left it on my plate and the dip. My husband and son liked their meals. Prices are also OT. Service was good, waiter was attentive, but not attentive enough to realize that there was something wrong with my meal, especially since before handing over to him I covered it with a napkin.

Our favorite restaurant! The crabcakes are phenomenal, and the crab dip is the best I've ever had, by far! The service is always exceptional, and the food comes out quick and perfect every time. I can't say enough great things about The Paddock!

Very good food and service , portions are very large . Only reason 4 outta 5 stars, had the seafood imperial w crab and scallops was very good but didn't like the imperial sauce . Otherwise 5 outta 5 stars
