it was so good to go back to the parson woodforde today that allyson steve is at the tax. a so beautiful pub, recently reopened and worth a visit. lunch was absolutely excellent, the leber and speck was for dying. After we ate in the drayton old lodge at many occasions, we were thrilled to hear that this amazing couple had taken over this pub and gave us a reliable spot to catch up with friends. I could add that we have to travel there for an hour and half a time, but it is worth it. when the opportunity appears, we will certainly use the beautiful accommodation and then they can enjoy the full monty breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner! a beautiful greeting, especially for our labor,...
Friday night and we wanted to go somewhere else. and we were not disappointed! we had booked a table and were so great for people watching and entertaining in the main bar area. no background music. hurra! great choice of beer. our food was excellent. the highest of the chicken and the pan fried sea. we both erase the plates. for dessert it had to be sticky toffee pudding and cream brittle and again we polished it off. the staff was young and very attentive. well-trained. was also good to see that most dogs seem to be welcome as we always look for dog friendly places. will we be back? yes. and we will. also recommend friends.
Had dinner here on Saturday just gone and told them that my husband is vegan, Alison admitted that they haven’t got anything vegan on the menu yet as they’ve not been open long. We went to have dinner as planned and Alison was so welcoming. Alison had a word with the Chef before we arrived about the husband being vegan and they came up with a meal plan especially for him. They were great with my son. I’m very happy the pub has reopened with BETTER owners, we will definitively be coming back. *ps, there will be vegan options on their new menu soon
We attended last night and what a wonderful experience, there was a big party of us celebrating my uncles 50th Birthday, included was 4 young children, staff knew exactly how to keep them happy given it was a late night for them, food was incredible and generally has been the best evening out in a long time, without a doubt we will be returning, Thankyou

had last night again a nice meal and a great service. even if we had not booked, maisie let us be welcome and found us sitting somewhere. it is a joy to be served by them, so warm and welcoming. Eating is consistently delightful hubby is obsessed with Thai curry while I had a fab burger. highly recommended
we cried today with our 3 children a very nice place with friendly staff that was eating excellent and the right portions for our children wild eyebrow from the buxton microbrauerei was also very good we will again top brands

Just had lunch at The Parson Woodford and it was special in three respects one the food, two the customer services and three the lovely warm pub itself. Well done the new landlord and lady!
