I wanted to a salted cod plate the waitress said it would take 20 minutes and everyone would have to wait for their because of my dish. So l ordered something else. There was so much of the linguiça cheese app left over because thwre was not enough of the small toasted Portuguese 10 people they could of brought more out for the appetizer. Also, two of my granddaughter found small hair at the end of the meal. Only one meal was discounted because the food was almost gone. I won't be going back!
My wife and I dined at The Pearl last night, and we were truly impressed by the quality of the food and amazed by the affordable prices. The staff were hospitable, welcoming, and fun. We ordered steamers, shrimp cocktail, stuffed salmon, and seafood Avana. Each dish was fresh, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious! Although we didn’t try the burgers, they looked great too. We will definitely return to this hidden gem of a restaurant!
We received our drinks at 7:30 PM, and now it's 8:45 PM with no sign of our food or any updates. I'll share my thoughts on the food once we finally get it. The drinks were decent, though. Update: our food arrived at 8:50 PM, and it was just okay. Perhaps it was an off night for the restaurant, but at $55.53 per person and an 80-minute wait for our meal after ordering, we felt it wasn't worth it.
I visited the Pearl with my father, sister, and sister-in-law for Father's Day lunch. The owner stopped by our table to introduce herself and she was incredibly kind. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. I had the cacoila sandwich, and it was fantastic! I give it a perfect 5 stars across the board, and I will definitely return! The place was nice, and clean. We went there for lunch and there weren't many people so we sat down immediately and they brought out drinks and bread fairly quickly. The waitress was nice and the food was good. Will definitely go back in the future. I believe this place only has street parking so be prepared to pay a meter depending on what time you go.
We had a very good experience at The Pearl. The service was really good. People were kind. The waitress was attentive. Food quality was excellent. Had the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer. I had the Polvo a boss grilled octopus) and my wife had the Stuffed Scrod. I recommend visiting this place. They won't be disappointed.
We ordered the octopus stew and Oh, my God so good! The octopus is so delicate that it practically melts into the mouth. Fresh bread made in the house all weekend. I recommend this restaurant. It is great to have a restaurant in the Azores style without going to Fall River. We will definitely be back.
