Beautiful cafe with some unique options and wonderful service!<br/ <br/ FOOD: I ordered the Probiotic Smoothie Bowl and it was definitely something different! The granola was a great portion and the smoothie base was something I’ve never tried before! Overall, it was a decent smoothie bowl and a different type that I’ve never tried and it definitely makes you feel good afterwards.<br/ <br/ SERVICE: The service was pleasant and really attentive as well as friendly!<br/ <br/ Overall, The Penny Drop is a gorgeous and great cafe if you’re ever in Box Hill and it definitely serves up some damn good food too!
Had our Xmas lunch at penny drop on the weekend ! Exceptional customer service! There are few of us had special request for our food order! The shop was really busy especially during this time of the year, but I was impressed that the food came out exactly what we wanted! The coffee was spot on! Usually I don’t write review but thought should share the great experience with everyone! Will definitely come back again !
This brunch place serves a mix of asian and Western dishes. Some of them sounds interesting and we ordered special menu for father's day. The chili crab is soft shell crab and the sauce is not very authentic in my opinion but still pretty good. The ribs are soft and basted with some smoky sauce.
I absolutely loved the food here and also the location.<br/ <br/ As Box Hill is my old hometown, where I grew up.<br/ <br/ Since then it has changed and became more lively and culturally for the better.<br/ <br/ So if you’re in town, I highly recommend eating here.

Average brunch place in Boxhill with Asian Fusion brunch menu. Great place amazing atmosphere for a Saturday catchup, but the food's pretty average. The staff members were really helpful and friendly nevertheless.
Grabbed a piccolo latte here today. The service was really friendly and the cafe was air conditioned but unfortunately my coffee was very average. <br/ <br/ Oh well two our of three ain't bad hahaha
New place at box hill with young crowd. The staff and management is still new so a few mistakes for for drinks. <br/ <br/ Give it some time hopefully it will grow to be a great place for meet up.
Excellent food and service was not bad either. I loved my fish which came is a soft soy and ginger base with greens and brown rice. I want to go again and again just for that dish!!!!!! :

The coffee and food are always good. We had the pork belly waffle and lamb ribs on the first day out of iso. This is definately our favorite cafe.
Great pasta and coffee, and beautiful insta-worthy restaurant fit-out.
