The Pie Pizzeria Midvale

Went out to dinner with my wife to the pie tonight and the atmosphere is great as always. We 'd come here all the time when our kids were little. We 'd get a cheese pull apart and split it between us, the good old days. During college we would go to the one downtown a couple times a month. Tonight we got another cheese pull apart and a 14 Chicken ranch pie. I got them out to us pretty quickly and the pull apart was cooked to perfection. Our chicken ranch on the other hand unfortunately they burned the bacon. The funny thing is when I said oh dang they burned the pizza , the ladies only comment was enjoy . We went in to try this pizza place for the first time. We were welcomed by a very friendly gal who took our order. We then sat near the entrance to wait and were surprised that there was 5 dirty tables all around us, yet 3 staff members were all just standing around chatting and looking at their phones. We waited 15 mins for our pizza (which is just fine) but couldn't get over how they just kept socializing and looking at their phones the whole time we waited. The pizza itself was very disappointing and my husband never even ate half of it because of how watery it was (and he has never let a pizza go to waste). Great pizza, one of our favorite This pizza was full of flavor, thick, we ordered a 18 inch pizza, the pure incredible size of the pizza had be full after two pieces. The environment is warm and welcoming, it’s a great place to take the entire family for a family night out, everyone is sure to get full and enjoy the best delicious pizza pie. Cold drinks help wash the mouth full of cheese melting hotness down. You must try this pizza

When the Midvale The Pie was opened, we were so excited. We have eaten there since it opened because we would go to the U location. This is a good pizza and a great atmosphere. The people that work there are kind and helpful. The pizzas are one of the best in Utah and there is a variety. We usually go for the Chicken bacon ranch an Wiseguy. Their bradsticks are great too.

I love the Pie, on usual days. So much so I put over $70 into an oder for GF Pizza. I expect everything to come good and ready and to be nice. Then I get the delivery and open the boxes to this. My day was sorely broken and my trust in the pie and their delivery is shattered. I don't think I'll be ordering pizza from the Pie for a good long while.
