The Plas Derwen - Reservar una mesa

Lovely staff, but too few for the number of guests, we stayed in room 2 which was dated but OK. Carpet covered in white dog hairs and remote control had been chewed presumably by the dog that shed its coat on the floor. Food was very good but limited menu as items had sold out. On checkout in the morning waited for ten mins to try and talk to someone about the room but gave up. Room is overpriced when you compare to other local venues

The food was good, but the service was terrible! The roast came without any vegetables, I had to ask for them. No sauces were offered, and I wanted horseradish but didn't want to wait because I wanted a hot meal. It took 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive. However, once everything finally came, the food was quite enjoyable. This restaurant definitely needs to improve their service.

Menu looked good but the food was terrible. It takes some lack of skill to make pork belly dry and tough, and the salmon nicoise was dressed in some sort of sweet goo and lacking the right ingredients. Service was very slow, staff seemed not to care about what they were doing and got multiple things wrong, also many ingredients had run out. Will not be back.

A great place for a fairly good meal and a drink, on the outskirts of this lovely town. It has a beautiful garden to sit out and enjoy the (all too rare) sunshine. Disappointingly, there is only one disable-friendly parking space, so it's usually pot luck if you need to park close-by.

Very pleasant place indeed. The food was delicious and the friendly staff are a credit to the Plas Derwen.. many thanks Dave! To top it off we had our collie Dewi with us and they are definitely a dog friendly pub.
